Mrs. Nina D. Galloway, 72, a resident of Rt. 1, Covington, died at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, in the Care Nursing Home in Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient 12 days. Mrs. Galloway was born Jan 18, 1896, in Tampico, Ill., the daughter of edward and Mary Hurlburt Pratt. She was married June 9, 1928, to Robert W. Galloway, who survives. She was a graduate of Tampico High School and the Illinois State Normal University. She attended summer sessions at the University of California at Berkley. She was a member of the Salem Methodist Church and she had been a Sunday School teach for more than 30 years. She recently had taught an older adult class. She was a member of Troy Chapter 145, OES, and she was social and educational leader for the Troy Township Farm Bureau. Surviving in addition to the husband are two sons, David E. of New Castle and R. Edward of Pittsburg, Kan.; three grandsons; one brother, Ralph H. Pratt, Ogema, Wisc.; and several nieces and nephews. The body is at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington where friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Edith Bruner will officiate and burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington.  -- thanks muches to Beth R for typing :)
